Golden Eagles Go One for Two

The volleyball team defeated Shawnee State 3-1 (26-24, 20-25, 25-23, 25-19) in the first match of the Malone tournament.  Becky Albrecht led the team with 24 kills and 9 digs.  Alicia TerHaar had 5 blocks and Marcie Blacquiere dished out 49 assists. 

The second match of the day was a reversal of the first match.  The Golden Eagles lost to the Pioneers of Malone 1-3 (24-26, 23-25, 25-20, 23-25).  Albrecht posted 21 kills and 12 digs to lead the team, TerHaar led the team with 11 blocks and 2 aces and Blacquiere finished with 37 assists.
