Golden Eagles Win Two on First Day of Clarke Invitational

The volleyball team improved to 14-13 overall with a two 3-0 wins over Viterbo Wisc. (25-23, 25-16, 25-17) and Cardinal Stritch (25-14, 25-20, 25-12).  Alicia TerHaar led the the team with 11 kills on 29 attempts (.345) vs. Cardinal Stritch.  She also had a team high 12 kills on 24 attempts (.500) vs. Viterbo.  Holly Cousins led the team with 8 digs vs. Stritch and 12 digs vs. Viterbo.  Ccornerstone hit an impressive .328 as team vs. Viterbo.  Cornerstone will resume action on Saturday vs. MidAmerican Nazarene and Ashford.
