Golden Eagles Going To The Region VIII Final

Cornerstone will be returning to the Regional Final again after defeating host Indiana Wesleyan 3-1 (30-21, 30-28, 24-30, 30-26). Freshman Jessica Sedley had a big day with 17 Kills in the match. Marcie Blacquiere had 54 Assists in the match. Julie Brusie had 20 Digs and Emily Hollemans had 7 Blocks. The Golden Eagles will advance to the Region VIII Final to play Madonna. Madonna defeated Indiana Tech 3-1 in the other Semi-Final. The Final game will be played at 5:00 p.m.

Brusie Named Libero of the Year for 3rd Consecutive Year

(Livonia, Mich.) After the conclusion of the WHAC Women's Volleyball Championships this past Saturday, the CU team was honored for another great year. Julie Brusie earned Libero of the Year for the 3rd consecutive year and was joined on the All-WHAC 1st Team by fellow seniors Shari VanEngen and Emily Hollemans while Freshman Marci Blacquiere and Holly Cousins earned 2nd Team All-WHAC.
