Politically Aware Students
Mission Statement:
The goal of Politically Aware Students is to serve the CU community by providing educational events and materials. PAS hopes to bring about a fuller understanding of Politics within the student body, and to promote further engagement of our civic and social environment.
This will be done through bi-weekly articles in the Herald and events such as monthly debates and key-note speakers from the political mainstream. An understating of politics will benefit the community and honor God as PAS actively seeks his design and will for the present political setting.
PAS hopes to see individuals become politically active through discourse, in order to achieve a more dynamic political environment on campus. The group will primarily address American politics through a Christian perspective examining the social, economic, and historical aspects of issues.
