LEADERSHIP HIRING 2008-2009
There is no unique shoe that magically turns a person into a leader. Leaders wear many types of shoes from flip flops to cowboy boots, tennis shoes to hiking boots.
However, when people decided to lead, to step into leadership, the shoe they are wearing becomes a leadership shoe. You have had the shoe of leadership on your whole life, you just haven't realized it.
The shoe of leadership is the shoe you are currently wearing. Leaders wear many shoes. If leadership was a shoe it would be the shoe you have. You are a leader. The shoes you wear for the places you go just like a shoe needs a foot. A leader needs a context of leadership.
Consider becoming a student leader for 2008-2009. The shoe fits...
To apply:
1. Fill out an application (click here - please do not hand write answers)
2. Complete a resume (see the template here and an example here)
3. Turn in your application and resume into the Student Development Office between December 1 and January 25th
4. Print off 2 reference forms found here. Please give references ample time to complete the form and return it to the Student Development Office
Applications and references can be turned in from December 4,2007 until January 25, 2008.
Group interviews will take place January 30-31, 2008 from 6-8pm or 9-11pm. You can sign up January 22-25.
Individual interviews will take place February 1-29, 2008.

- Are announced before March 5, 2008
- Include attendance at April 2008 legacy service
- Include attendance in August 2008 Pre-semester arrival/training component (job description will list various August 2008 arrivals/trainings)
