Career/Job Fairs
CareerFest: Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids. Employers representing business, industry and some social services will be present. Open to all majors seeking a job or internship in one the areas listed. Click here for a list of employers scheduled to attend.
Michigan Collegiate Job Fair: November 2, 2007 and March 14, 2008 from 9:00am-3:00pm at the Burton Manor in Livonia, Michigan. A $10 early registration fee and $20 at the door is charged to attend. Registration forms may be obtained from Career Services or ACE office in Troy, MI. Go to www.mcjf.org for more details and a list of employers attending.
West Michigan Career Connections: Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids. Employers representing business and industry will be attending. Students seeking a job or internship with a business related majoe should attend.
Engineering and Technical Job Fair: Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at the Prince Conference Center on the campus of Calvin College. Employers are recruting computer science and physical science majors.
Out-of-State Teacher Job Fair: Monday, March 2, 2009 from 3:30pm-6:30pm at the GVSU Fieldhouse on the Allendale campus. Education students interested in pursuing a teaching job in another state should attend. Schools will be scheduling interviews on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the same location.
West Michigan Teacher Search: Tuesday, April 28, 2009 from 9:00am-4:00pm at the GVSU Fieldhouse in Allendale. Employers representing schools from Michigan and out-of-state will be recruiting teachers in all certifications. Employers will have an opportunity to conduct interviews on site. Students from non-sponsoring colleges or universities will be allowed entrance after 12:00pm and will be charged a fee of $10.
