SERVICES AVAILABLE
- Acute illness evaluation and treatment of colds, sprains, sore throats, flu, etc.
- Diagnostic testing for mono, sore throat, pregnancy, anemia, and laboratory testing as ordered by providers or your own physician.
- Allergy injections, immunizations, TB skin tests.
- Follow-up care are needed per med-center or hospital visits.
- Rental of crutches.
- Gynecological exams, pre-marital counseling.
- Prevention education.
- Student insurance administration (see link).
- Travel immunizations.
- Appointments encouraged, walkins welcome.
FEES
Those students (or student's spouse) requiring medicine or equipment, diagnostic testing, or appointments with the provider will be charged a minimal fee. A visit with the nurse is no charge but may require a follow-up visit with the provider.
Students eligible under student insurance will have a $300 benefit covering Cornerstone University Health Service charges for non-routine, non pre-existing health problems with a $10 per visit co-pay.
Current students carrying 6 credits as undergraduates, or 5 credits as graduate students are automatically on student insurance plan.
