SUMMARY
The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist the Vice President of Spiritual Formation and the department of Spiritual Formation with administrative tasks, projects and supervision of student workers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
· Assist the Vice President for Spiritual Formation with administrative tasks as requeste
· Schedule appointments and meetings as directed by the Vice President of Spiritual Formation
· Assist the Dean of Community Life, Associate Dean of Worship Arts, Dean of Student Engagement, and Associate Dean of Discipleship as directed by the Vice President of Spiritual Formation
· Maintain the Chapel attendance database including scanning attendances at chapel sessions, sending communication to students, obtaining and confirming grace attendances, and tracking students who have not met the chapel attendance requirement
· Support the Associate Dean of Worship Arts in developing the chapel schedule and the details of the program
· Oversee compilation of Spiritual Formation Staff annual evaluations
· Assist the Dean of Student Engagement with the administrative details connected with Terra Firma
· Maintain and promote good communication and act as a liaison within the Spiritual Formation Department
· Schedule “walk-in” appointments for the Spiritual Formation Division
· Management of student files
· Tracking budget details for the department
· Updating website information for the department of Spiritual Formation
· Supervise student workers for the Department of Spiritual Formation and provide vision for the general aesthetics, hospitality and customer services of the Spiritual Formation division office spaces.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· Associates Degree or one to three years office experience required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Working knowledge of Datatel, MIRS, Millennium, Microsoft Office Suite and Access
· Ability to interact with a broad range of constituents including faculty, staff, students, parents and public
· Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail
· Ability to multitask, produce accurate work in a timely manner and independently manage assigned projects
· Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
