MISSION STATEMENT
The Human Resources department exists to provide professional leadership and expertise on human resources issues in support of the mission of Cornerstone University. To accomplish this, the Human Resources department will contribute by:
- Overseeing a fair and consistent recruitment process that identifies the most qualified applicants who are committed to Jesus Christ and the mission of Cornerstone
- Providing equitable compensation, benefit, and recognition practices to aid in the retention and motivation of University employees
- Directing a comprehensive performance management system
- Developing and implementing personnel policies and programs to support University operations, and the needs of our employees
- Treating all individuals with dignity and respect
- Providing counsel and expertise to senior administration and managers on legal matters, pertaining to employment law and practices
- Facilitating initiatives designed to increase community among employees
- Supporting on-going training and development opportunities
- Facilitating programs to enhance the health and prductivity of our employees
