What is Disciplenet?

Disciplenet is the name given to the Cornerstone University network.


How do I login to a computer?
To the top of the page.

To log in, press CTRL+ALT+DEL at the same time. Then enter your username (which may already be there from the last login if you have logged in previously) and password. Make sure the domain field is set to Disciplenet.

First time logins: Enter your username. If you are not sure what it is, click here. Your password is set to be the same as your username. You should be prompted to select a new password. If you are not, we suggest you change it manualy by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE and clicking 'Change Password'. Your password must be at least 7 characters long.


How do I connect to Disciplenet?

For laptop users: When you plug your network cable into both your laptop and an active network port, you are connected to Disciplenet. To use Disciplenet resources, you need to be authenticated. Each time you log into your laptop, you are authenticated, whether or not you are plugged into the network.


How do I map a network drive?
To the top of the page.

  1. Right-click on "My Computer"
  2. Choose "Map Network Drive"
  3. In the "Drive" field, choose a drive letter (most departments choose G for their dept. shared drive)
  4. In the "Folder" field, type \\timothy\yourdepartmentalsharedrive$ (for example \\timothy\library$). Click the box marked "Reconnect at Logon"
  5. Hit Enter or click the "Finish" button
