Making an Announcement on the Scoop


The Scoop is a looped slideshow presentation shown before every chapel. If you would like to use the Scoop as an aid to communicate to the student body, please take the following into consideration:

  • Please limit your announcement to one (1) slide
  • Please send your announcement in the form of a(n):
    • PowerPoint Slide
    • Image File (jpg, gif, png, etc.)
  • Your announcement must be applicable to the majority or good "chunk" of the student body. (Example of "good chunks:" Commuters, Men, Residents, Women, Everyone)
  • Please let us know the length of time you would like this to be displayed. (ie. 1 week, all semester, etc.)
  • All announcements must be approved by Student Development
  • Announcement requests must be received by noon (12:00pm) on the Friday prior to the week you would like the announcement to be displayed.
If you would like to submit an announcement to be played in the Scoop, please e-mail jennifer_m_hartman@cornerstone.edu for approval. Your announcement will then be forwarded to the Multimedia and Communications Intern.
