Need Help?

Spiritual Formation is passionate about providing help to the students of Cornerstone, and is willing to help in several ways.

Pastoral Care

Are you hurting inside? Or, maybe you just need someone to talk to. Someone who will listen and hear you out, offering advice to help you through your college years.

College is never easy, and always seems to bring with it a unique mix of experiences - good and bad, stressful and joy filled.

Please know that you do not need to walk through your college years alone. Chuck Swanson, Dean of Spiritual Formation, and his staff are able to connect you with people who can help you be transformed more into the likeness of God.

If you are interested in meeting with someone who you can talk openly with, please e-mail Chuck with the following information...

1. Your name
2. Year in college (freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or other)
3. Issue you'd like to discuss*

*Common topics of discussion in this setting include... general pastoral care, one-on-one discipleship, discipleship referrals, pre-marital counseling, and chapel questions or concerns.

The Department of Spiritual Formation values and respects your desire for confidentiality.

Prayer Requests

Have a prayer request? Take comfort knowing that we care very much for your requests. As the spiritual formation staff, we will be sure that every request is prayed for. We will also strive to meet whatever needs we are able to. Please e-mail Christine Mutch (Director of Discipleship & Worship) if you have any prayer requests.

8:20 for 30

Come join us in prayer for the CU community.
30 minutes every Friday morning at 8:20.

Facilitated by a Spiritual Formation staff member, we will be praying especially for our community here at Cornerstone.

Come to pray or be prayed for. All are welcome - students, faculty, and staff.
8:20 for 30 meets in The Hall of Honor room (it's next to the Golden Eagle Lounge/statue at the end of the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center).

If you have any questions about 8:20 for 30, please contact Christine Mutch (Director of Discipleship and Worship).
