Why CU/GRTS?
I hear about the university through a friend.
Your Story:
I came to Cornerstone in 1997 and enrolled in the ACE program (now titled PGS), basically to complete a bachelor degree so I could attend seminary. I knew I was called to ministry and had just planted a church when I started in the program. The business degree courses helped me tremendously in my role as Lead Pastor.
After I graduated and went to seminary I found a wonderful friend through my advisor, Joe Crawford. Through his teaching in Systematic Theology courses, and my overall education at GRTS (then Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary) I became better prepared to teach God's Word. My education experiences through CU led me to a path only God could superintend. I began teaching at CU in the PGS program four years ago, and now I currently serve as Vice President of Adult and Online Education at Grace Bible College. I believe through completing degrees and teaching at CU that most adults that I have interacted with become Life Long Learners who are impacted by God in a very positive way.
