About Professor Gratson
Emily Gratson received her Bachelor’s degree in business and Spanish from Calvin College, and her Master’s in Spanish Literature & Linguistics from Western Michigan University. At Cornerstone, she develops and teaches Spanish courses, manages cultural activities with the department and coordinates volunteer and work opportunities for students within the Hispanic community of West Michigan. In the spring of 2011, Gratson was selected to serve as Resident Director of Undergraduate Study Abroad Program in Querétaro, Mexico.
Emily has lived in both Spain and Mexico for extended periods of time, and she currently volunteers with Neighbors International at Calvary Church. In her spare time, Gratson enjoys reading, running, playing the piano and traveling to Spanish speaking countries.
