Kent Walters earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Music Education from Calvin College, his Master of Music in Choral Conducting from Michigan State University and his Doctor of Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies. At Cornerstone University, he is the director of Choral Studies and conducts the University Chorale and Credo ensembles. Walters’ field related interests include choral music, liturgical studies and worship renewal.
Walters was appointed Professor and Director of Alumni Activities at the Robert Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Orange Park, Florida. He is the editor of the Institute’s online newsletter, Anamnesis.
In his spare time, Walters enjoys reading, gardening and running. He is a loyal Detroit Tigers and Michigan State Spartans fan.
