About Dr. Van Dyke
Dr. Van Dyke teaches courses in American literature, writing and philosophy. His professional interests include American poetry, religious radicalism, intellectual and cultural history, and the arts. He was awarded a Thayer Fellowship at UCLA in 2012.
Dr. Van Dyke enjoys lifting weights, painting, cooking, traveling and coffee. He could once solve a Rubik’s Cube in less than a minute, he threw shot put and discus in high school, and he is “a rabid fan of MSU sports.”
