Van Dessel is Director of Keyboard Studies, supplying instruction in applied piano, Theory I and II, Aural Perception III and IV, Keyboard Harmony, and Form and Analysis. He also serves on various faculty committees. His professional interests include piano performance. He has just completed his 35th year as a faculty member at Cornerstone. Van Dessel’s hobbies include cooking and bagpiping.
