Brent RudinWhere were you born?
I was born in Mt. Prospect, Ill. - a nothwest suburb of Chicago (go Cubs!). If you know where IKEA is in the northwest suburbs, that's only 15 minutes away from my home.

What are your hobbies?
- baseball, basketball or other sports
- playing with my three children
- running
- reading

What’s your favorite hang-out spot in GR?
There are some great restaurants all around town. Eastown is very cool. And I now live in Rockford, (about 10 miles north of campus) and our downtown is very cool with lots of cute shops, trails and Rocky's ice cream shop!

What’s your favorite type of music?
I'm just your average contemporary Christian music fan, but I also like some '70's rock thrown in, too.

What’s your favorite part about CU?
I love the emphasis CU puts on leadership. Jesus is the best example of a leader and CU wants to train not only students, but staff and faculty, to use the gifts, talents and abilities that we have in different leadership opportunities around campus.

Why did you choose to work in admissions?
My experience at a Christian college was life-changing for me. I really came to know and experience God in a whole new way. Every day in the admissions office is different. And I thoroughly enjoy the rest of the admissions staff! We all truly want to help you make the best-informed decision you can.

What one piece of advice would you give to a new student?
Take advantage of the opportunities for deep relationships and new experiences while you are in college.
