The Institute for Christianity and Cultural Engagement serves as the central programmatic impetus for embedding and actualizing Cornerstone University’s vision to graduate students who will be able to effectively influence their worlds for Christ. Under the direction of Dr. Matt Bonzo, the Institute is involved a variety of on-campus activities such as advising curriculum and co-curriculum, conducting faculty workshops, facilitating student and faculty cross-cultural opportunities, and administering the Cornerstone Prize.

The Institute also serves a public role in hosting conferences and workshops as well as representing Cornerstone University at local, national, and global events on the issue of Christian cultural engagement. In all, the Institute seeks to promote a winsome and hospitable witness of the Gospel and to minister to and learn from the church in a globalized world.
