Cornerstone University Hosts
"Competition, Culture and Christ" featuring:
Kirk Cousins, Michigan State University Quarterback
Wednesday, March 16, 7:30 p.m.
Kirk Cousins,
boy-wonder MSU quarterback, will be the featured speaker at Cornerstone
University’s special event, Competition,
Culture and Christ. The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday,
March 16 in the Hansen Athletic Center on campus.
Cousins, a graduate of Holland Christian High School, will
publicly share his story about how he integrates football with his Christian
faith and will include a Q&A session.
“…Football’s not my
foundation, it’s not my identity. My faith is in Jesus Christ and He’s not
changing anytime soon. I’ll keep trusting in Him and in His plan…,” Cousins
said during an MLive interview recently.
Cousins is an outstanding player at MSU with 64% of his
passes completed and a 146.7
passing efficiency rating, both of which are MSU records. He also has tied a
school record by throwing a touchdown pass in 16 consecutive games.
This free event is open to the public.
A press conference
will be held prior to the event. For information on attending, please call
