World’s largest library prize: Nov. 13 – Nov. 20, 2009

Oct 26, 2009

You’ve seen ArtPrize, our city’s innovative open art competition.

You’ve seen LateNight, our university’s massive end of the semester library study session.

Now welcome LibraryPrize.

At LibraryPrize, any Cornerstone University artist—from freshman to seminarian—has the chance to show work. Any CU student, staff, or faculty member can vote. The vote will determine who wins the largest library prize in the world, or at least a $50 gift card to Meijer. Here’s the catch: we are looking for work that incorporates our new midnight hours and the upcoming LateNight at Miller Library being held on December 13th.

Both floors of Miller Library will be opened up as a venue, and we need your work! The possibilities are wide open.

We can't predict what will happen, but it should be a lot of fun finding out.

Come and see.

The Basics:

• Top prize: $50 gift card to Meijer
• Dates: November 6 -; November 13
• Location: Miller Library -; Cornerstone University
• Winner is determined by public vote of the Cornerstone University community
• All members of the Cornerstone University community can vote
• Top entry will receive a prize
• Multiple artists can collaborate on an entry
• Artists may only submit one entry
• Miller Library is the venue for this event

Submit works to Miller Library anytime up to Wednesday, November 11th at 4 PM.  Please contact Eric Bradley (eric_m_bradley@cornerstone.edu, x. 1628) with any questions.
