Miller Library owns several CD-ROM programs that are accessible to faculty and students from on-campus. These are located on the "Q"-drive of the Cornerstone network. (Find Q by opening the "My Computer" icon on your desktop.)

When you access the Q-drive, the following icons/folders will appear, representing their respective programs:

Also available on Library Reference Computers, but not on the Q-drive:
Catastrophe Reference Database (abstracts from geologic literature)
Social Work Reference Library (1997): Encyclopedia of Social Work, et al.

Click on the folder that interests you. You will then see a number of sub-folders or files that represent the contents of that database. Find the file that is labeled "SETUP.EXE." To install the program to your hard drive, double-click on this icon once—then wait for a minute or so. DO NOT KEEP CLICKING, as this will only open several installations. Be patient as this process may take several minutes depending on the program.

Once the program is installed on your computer's hard drive, you should be able to open the various books or folders within it.
