Chronicle of Higher Education

There are two ways to read or search the Chronicle of Higher Education online. (Of course, the Chronicle is also available in print format at Miller Library):

To search the Chronicle of Higher Education or to read the current issue on-line:

1. Click on the link below. This will take you to our catalog record of the Chronicle. To read the current issue or search back issues (up to 12 years) on-line, click "Full-Text Access..."
2. From this page select the publication date you wish to read. 
3. Browse the articles included in that issue; when you select one to read, you will be asked for a User Name and Password. License restrictions prohibit us from making these public, so you will have to call the Library and ask for the Password and User name for the Chronicle (222-1458)*.
4. Once you have the password and user name, click here to begin: Chronicle of Higher Education

*Call Library for the New User Name and Password as of December 14, 2007

A. Using the Lexis-Nexis Academic Universe database:
1. Open Lexis-Nexis from Miller Library's home page (or the eResources page)
2. Select the Guided News Search tab
3. Select University News under Step One (News Category)
4. Select Chronicle of Higher Education under Step Two (News Source)
5. Enter your remaining search criteria
