Dr. Joe Stowell, president of Cornerstone University, will be one of two keynote speakers at the Committed to the Word Conference scheduled for Sept. 13 and 14 in Troy, Mich.
Joining Dr. Stowell as a keynote speaker will be Dr. R. Al Mohler, jr., president of The Southern Baptist Seminary in Louisville, Ky., for 16 years and a leading Christian intellectual and author.
The two-day conference caters to pastors and other Christian leaders. Topics cover a wide range of issues, focusing on ministry in a post-Christian culture with two worship sessions and Q&A time with Dr. Stowell and Dr. Mohler.
He will be speaking on “Success in a Secular World as a Member of the Jesus Nation” in addition to a seminar outlining “Steps Toward Success in Ministry.”
Cornerstone University Board of Trustee member, Dr. Doug Schmidt, pastor of Woodside Bible Church, is hosting the conference.
