CU President Films in Turkey

May 22, 2012 Cornerstone University President, Dr. Joe Stowell, completed a film shoot in Turkey for Day of Discovery that covered historical sites in the Bible.

“We have had what I think is an exceptionally good shoot,” said Dr. Stowell of the 10-day shoot. “As we were covering the various sites I kept thinking and wishing that everyone could be here to experience the depth of history and relevance of the letters to the early Christians. They valiantly navigated their faith in a cultural environment that in some respects is like ours today only on steroids.” Read More

  • CU Announces New Women's Basketball Coach

    May 08, 2012
    Cornerstone University announced today the hiring of Katie (Feenstra) Mattera as the school's new Head Women's Basketball Coach. Feenstra replaces Carla Fles who coached 14 years at Cornerstone before retiring after this past season. 

    The 29-year-old Mattera begins her coaching career after an eight-year career in professional basketball, including five years in the WNBA.
