How did you end up at CU?: I visited CU during my Junior year of high school and fell completely in love.  Cornerstone’s community is one of the main things that drew me to the University.

What is God teaching you this semester? God is teaching me to completely trust in Him.  Being a senior has been interesting; getting ready to go into the real world next year.  However, God has a plan for my life, even if I don’t know exactly what that is right now. Jeremiah 29:11 sums it up perfectly: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This has basically been my semester verse.  How awesome is it that we have a God who takes care of us and wants to see us succeed?  He is amazing!

What plans do you have for life after graduation?I hope to teach somewhere, wherever God calls me to teach.  If I don’t teach right away, I hope to be involved with students in some other way.

What do you do when you're not studying? I love sports, playing guitar, and running.  I love to read and hang out with friends.

What’s your favorite thing about CU? I absolutely love the community at CU.  There is an excitement upon stepping on campus that comes from the students here.  It is so evident that the student body, university faculty, and Cornerstone staff longs for a deeper relationship with God.

What is one thing that every prospective student should know about CU? One thing that you should do while here at CU is get involved!  Cornerstone does an amazing job at getting students involved and providing different campus activities that create community and growth.  Don’t be afraid to try something new!  Let God show Himself in different ways during your Cornerstone experience!
