The Master of Divinity degree is the historical standard in academic preparation for both vocational ministry and advanced theological study. The 94 credit program includes studying the Bible in the original languages (Greek and Hebrew).

M.A. Counseling

The 72 credit M.A.Counseling program teaches the foundational theories and skills essential to the practice of counseling and is the academic base for state licensure (LPC).

M.A. Christian Formation

The M.A. Christian Formation program is designed to develop competency in the areas of Bible,Theology and educational ministry. The 65 credit program includes Ministry Residency and the opportunity to focus on an area of ministry specialization.

M.A. Intercultural Ministries

The M.A. Intercultural Ministries program is designed to develop competency in the areas of Bible,Theology and intercultural ministry. The 65 credit program includes Ministry Residency and the opportunity to focus on cross-cultural ministry.

M.A. Old Testament

The M.A. Old Testament program is designed to develop exegetical and theological skills for study of the Old Testament. The 64 credit program includes Hebrew langauge study and the option of a thesis.

 

M.A. New Testament

The M.A. New Testament program is designed to develop exegetical and theological skills for study of the New Testament. The 64 credit program includes Greek langauge study and the option of a thesis.

 

M.A. Systematic Theology

The M.A. Systematic Theology program is designed to develop competencies essential to the study of systematic theology. The 63 credit program can be used as a basis for ministry service or for advanced education. 

 

M.A. Historical Theology

The M.A. Historical Theology program is designed to develop competencies essential to the study of the history Christian doctrine and spirituality.The 65 credit program can be used as a basis for teaching ministry or as preparation for doctoral study. The degree includes studying Greek and Hebrew.

 

M.A. Interdisciplinary Studies

The M.A. Interdisciplinary Studies program is designed to develop competency in the areas of Bible,Theology and ministry leadership. The 63 credit program includes multiple electives and the opportunity to select classes according to your particular interests.

 

 

Master of Theology (Th.M.)

The Master of Theology degree is intended to foster enhanced competency in a major field of study for those who have completed an MDiv or M.A. degree in a relevant theological discipline.
