The Division of Humanities offers courses and programs that are foundational to an undergraduate liberal arts education. Communication skills, critical thinking, artistic expression, cross-cultural and multicultural learning, media awareness, understanding of the history and cultures of our world, knowledge of diverse traditions in the arts and literature – these are only a few of the emphases of Cornerstone University’s Division of Humanities.
We offer many vital core classes and operate our own degree programs in English, History, Philosophy, Linguistics and Foreign Languages. You take courses not only in your area (e.g., literature), but also in philosophy, linguistics, and creative writing. This is the strength and uniqueness of the program. Our focus is the integration of Christian faith and academic content, directing each student toward the formation of a Christian worldview.
