What brought you to Cornerstone?

Choosing a college was a difficult decision, to be sure. I had a full ride to Davenport, but I really liked CU, so I wrestled with where to go for several months. I prayed about it a lot, and felt that God was leading me toward Cornerstone.

What do you do for fun?

I love basketball, soccer, tennis, swimming, snowboarding, hanging out with friends, pingpong...basically anything that involves being with other people.

What's your favorite thing about CU?

I love the atmosphere here. People are the most important part of my life, and when there are great students around me who love the Lord, and want to serve Him wholeheartedly, it's an encouragement to me, and it helps me stay focused on God.

What is God teaching you at the moment?

To stay focused. My current job is to be a student, so I need to do the best that I can in my studies. Also, that people are people. We're not perfect, but we, as human beings, are the most important part of life - so be kind, have fun, enjoy life together, and know that God smiles when you make others smile.

What is one thing that every prospective student should know about CU?

The people here at CU are genuine. Go to college somewhere you'll be wanted and not simply tolerated. Cornerstone cares about its students, and feels like a home away from home.
