Wise words from Taylor: "Some things that are important in high school will fade away once you reach college. So give your worries to God, and let him lead."

Give us the low-down, Taylor.

How did you get here?

I visited Cornerstone while I was in high school, and it was clear that God was at work here. Once I had the opportunity to worship Him in chapel, I knew that I had found the place I was supposed to be.

Why did you choose a Business Administration major?

When I graduate, I would like to continue my studies in a Seminary program. Then it would be awesome to begin my ministry in a church. Beyond that, I want to spread God's love through pastoral ministry, church planting, and community leadership. I have always been told that ministry involves a significant amount of business knowledge and practices. So, I'd love to use my buisness degree to deepen my ministry. I am really excited to see where God takes me through His leading in my life.

What is your favorite thing about college?

My favorite thing about CU are the friendships I have been blessed with here. I have found a quality group of friends, mostly due to Cornerstone's Terra Firma program. We were all strangers the first day of college, and now are deep and accountable friends.

What has God been downloading to you lately?

God's been teaching me the importance of community. I have been encouraged and supported as I grow deeper in my faith, both by my close group of friends and the broader Cornerstone community.

What would you share with people who in the middle of the college search?

Allow God into your college search process. He has a plan for your life, and you need to allow Him to lead you where He wants you. It is such a blessing when you find this place!
