A Milestone Year in Our University Story.

Anniversary dates remind us to name standing stones, to recall formative events, leaders, contexts, landscapes, and mentors.

As of September 2015, the university has issued 7,692 traditional undergraduate degrees, inaugurated 11 leaders as university president, obtained 3 team and 9 individual national championship titles, hosted 19 Mudbowl events, raised $90,000 for the purchase of 15,000 bed nets to prevent Malaria through Night of Nets athletic events, and recorded the average number of chocolate chip cookies consumed during lunch each Friday as nearing 1,800.

The university's 75th Anniversary celebration is dedicated to Dr. W. Wilbert Welch, honoring his legacy of faith-based leadership. Join us in recalling the early years and anticipating the developments yet to come in the unfolding story of our campus community.
