Academic Opportunities

Relational Learning

Our commitment to rigorous academics in a caring community manifests itself in what we call "relational learning." In addition to challenging courses, at Cornerstone you'll find committed and caring professors who take a personal interest in you and your success. Whether it's tutoring sessions with a professor in the Dining Commons or a faculty- led trip to Ireland, academics at Cornerstone is both rigorous and relational.

Internships are at the core of the academic experience. We work with large and small businesses, non-profit organizations, educational institutions and others to provide students with hands-on learning.

Honors Program

The honors program provides an opportunity for academically gifted students to enhance their educational experience through special sections of classes and close work with faculty members on individual projects.

Study Abroad

Our study abroad program offers experiences in England, Romania, China and many other countries - opportunities to live, learn and serve internationally.

January term trips give students an opportunity to get out of the usual classroom setting, and learn in context! Check out the Science Department's Ecology of the Southwest J-term class trip as Dr. Robert Keys gives updates on the CU Science Adventures blog...
