  • Course Description: A survey of, and appreciation for, western music from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. The course includes an introduction to music, composers and components from various time periods with an emphasis on different styles, historical settings, aesthetics and musical trends. Special focus is given to discerning and judging the value of music within the context of a Christian worldview.
