Enactus is a student-led organization facilitated through the Business Division. Comprised of students from six academic division who meet on a weekly basis, the mission of Cornerstone's Enactus team is to utilize the talents and passions of student leaders to meet the needs of today in a manner that is sustainable for tomorrow.

Awards and Honors
Each spring, Cornerstone's Enactus team competes in a national competition, presenting project results to business leaders. Recently, the Cornerstone received the following awards:
- 2017 3rd Place Finish in League at the National Exposition in Kansas City, MO
- 2017 Regional Champion at the Enactus Regional Championship in Rosemont, IL
- 2016 2nd Place Finish in Opening Round of the National Exposition
- 2016 Regional Champion at the Enactus Regional Championship in Lombard, IL
- 2015 First Round Finalist at the National Exposition
- 2014 First Round Finalist at the National Exposition

Each year project teams identify needs, create solutions and take action! Here's a list of descriptions for this semester's initiatives.
A micro-financing project that works to benefit global communities, economies and provide opportunities to support global small businesses through fundraising activities. MicroGive works hard to raise money for microloans and educate the community on the topic. These microloans are in partnership with INSHEV in the Ivory Coast.
Idea Pitch Competition for Middle School Students
A project that works to build confidence, communication and entrepreneurial skills in middle school students. These students come up with a new entrepreneurial idea, work through a curriculum and participate in a pitch competition.
Social Media 101
A series of seminars held to educate and consult community businesses on different parts of social media. Topics range from how to open a Facebook page to how to increase your social media reach.
Exam Survival Kits (Sustainability)
A fundraiser for Enactus and a part of team sustainability. Each semester, parents are given the opportunity to purchase an exam survival kit for the students which is then given to them the week before exams. The kit includes snacks, treats and other fun surprises sure to make finals week just a little bit better.
Holiday Grams (Sustainability)
At each holiday, students and faculty are given the opportunity to send a note and some candy to other students via their campus mailboxes. These are a fun way to celebrate the holiday and spread the holiday spirit on campus while raising money for Enactus.
New Creation Cupcakes is a human trafficking organization which seeks to provide outreach and mentorship to at-risk women in the Grand Rapids and Traverse City regions. Enactus partners with New Creation Cupcakes to help them fundraise, create marketing materials, and do a variety of other things. We are continuing to work with New Creation Cupcakes but are expanding on the topic of Human Trafficking to include other projects in the Grand Rapids area.
Composting and Recycling at CU
An initiative with Cornerstone Food Service and Campus Services to develop a strategic approach to both recycling and composting across the university.
Prom Dress Project
This new project will be working to have a prom dress drive in the Cornerstone community. These dresses will then be distributed to high school girls who may not otherwise be able to purchase a prom dress.
She is Worthy
This new project is in the preliminary planning stages and will work on female youth confidence and empowerment.
House of Rest Project
This exciting new project has preliminary goals including developing a scholarship program for women from the House of Rest and website development.
A new project with the goal of using student's unused meal tickets in the cafeteria to get meals for the homeless of Grand Rapids each week.
