The English education program seeks to introduce students to the important literature of world culture with an aim of developing them into effective teachers who can understand moral choices and can design, express, interpret and evaluate written literature in light of a Christian worldview.
Cornerstone University graduates are teaching in Michigan and throughout the United States. In addition, graduates are teaching English overseas in international schools and schools for missionary kids.
Teachers with a degree in English Education are able to teach English literature and writing at the secondary education level.
