Incoming Student Checklist

  1. Complete the Financial Aid Student Checklist.
  2. Finalize your admission file.
  3. Return Health Services paperwork.
    • Complete and return your health forms to the Health Services office. This may require that you schedule a doctor's appointment.
      • Deadline: July 5, 2016

  4. Prepare for your semester.

  • Q: When should I arrive on campus?
    A: Welcome day is Friday, September 2. You will receive full arrival details in the mail.

  • Q: Can I arrive earlier than the day of Welcome Day?
    A: Students are not permitted to move into residence halls prior to Welcome Day due to student staff training.

  • Q: When will I find out my housing assignment and roommate information?
    A: You will be notified of your residence hall and roommate assignments via your Cornerstone email address. Please refer to the Welcome Day packet you received in the mail on how to access your CU email address and the CU Portal.

  • Q: What size are the mattresses at CU?
    A: We provide extra long, twin size mattresses in all residence halls.

  • Q: How do I find a job on campus?
    A: Complete an on-campus job application and return it to the Center for Career and Life Calling.
