Cornerstone University awards the following scholarships to traditional undergraduate students in the Teacher Education Division.

Award Descriptions

  • Ginger Coburn Memorial Scholarship: Assists female teacher education students who demonstrate financial need; 60+ credits; minimum 3.0 G.P.A.; priority given to students from Alpena County, Mich.

  • Ethel M. Collins Children's Education Scholarship: Assists students preparing to minister to children through a teaching career; education major; 26+ credits; minimum 2.0 G.P.A.; demonstrates financial need.
    • Upload a summary describing how you plan to use your teaching career as a ministry.
  • Catherine Ross Wirtz Elementary Education Scholarship: Assists undergraduate students who are endeavoring to become elementary or middle school teachers; record of service to the Lord and mankind; education major; minimum 3.0 G.P.A.; financial need is considered. Student must be accepted into the teacher education program.
    • Upload a summary describing your record of service to the Lord and mankind as well as the grade level you plan to teach.
