Read the New Student Enrollment Packet

This packet will be a guide to help answer your questions as we get closer to the start of the semester. It also contains an overview of the academic calendar.

All enrollment paperwork should be completed by Arrival Day unless stated differently. Below is a general timeline of summer deadlines for incoming students. Please refer to this page or contact the Admissions Office with any questions.

Register for Your Summer Orientation Day

Summer Orientation Days are a time for you to register for classes, meet future classmates and finalize enrollment items to prepare for Arrival Day.

Orientation sign-up invitations are sent by email to deposited students. Please contact your admissions counselor if you have questions about registering for Summer Orientation Days.

2024 Summer Orientation Dates:

  • Friday, June 7
  • Friday, June 21

Complete Transcript & Test Score Paperwork | Due: July 1

Please submit the official enrollment forms listed below. Submitting these items will ensure you are prepared to register for classes during Summer Orientation Days.

  • Submit your final high school transcript.*
  • Submit your final college transcript.*
  • Submit your AP or CLEP scores.*
  • If applicable, please complete your math and English placement test. If you’re not sure whether you need to take a placement test, please contact your admissions counselor.

*Please Note: All final transcripts must be sent from the institution in a sealed envelope, while all AP and CLEP scores must be sent through College Board.

Complete Health Services Paperwork | Due: Aug. 1

Complete and mail your health forms to the TUG Admissions Office by July 1. Completing these forms may require you to schedule a doctor’s appointment.

  • Medical History Form
  • Immunization History Form
  • TB Self-Screening Tool
  • Authorization to Treat Form

New Student-Athletes: You must register on SWOL and return additional forms to the Athletics Office. These forms include an Annual Health Physical, Proof of Primary Insurance, Medical Insurance Protocol and New Incoming Student-Athlete Health History.

Complete Financial Aid Paperwork | Due: Aug. 5

Log in to your Cornerstone email account and complete the required financial aid forms.

Pay Your Tuition Statement | Aug. 15

Class schedules and fall tuition bills will be mailed in mid-July. By Aug. 15, please pay your tuition statement or set up a payment plan.

Students must pay their bill in full or have a payment plan set up by Move-in Day (residential students, varies if playing in a fall varsity sport) or the first day of classes (commuters).

Fall Arrival Day for 2024 will be held on Friday, Aug. 23. For additional details about arrival and orientation, select the menu below that is most relevant to your arrival.

All students and their family members are encouraged to attend new student dedication in Christ Chapel. Orientation Week will kick off following the dedication service.

Orientation attendance is required for all new students.

New Student Orientation Week Schedule

Orientation Week activities are required for all incoming freshmen and transfer* students. This is an important time for students to connect with the campus community, acclimate to campus life and prepare for the start of the academic year.

*Transfer students with 45 credits or less are required to attend all Orientation Week events. Orientation Week events are strongly encouraged for transfer students with 46 or more credits.

Additional Resources

On-Campus Student Employment

Students can browse, search and apply for on-campus employment opportunities through Handshake. If you have been accepted to Cornerstone and submitted your enrollment deposit, you can access Handshake using your CU student username and password.

Once you have accepted an on-campus job, you will need to complete the following steps to finalize your employment:

  • Sign all required Human Resources documents and return them to HR.
  • Bring unexpired, original ID to present to HR. One form of ID that qualifies is a valid US passport. Another option is to bring both a driver’s license and a social security card. If you are not a US citizen or need other options, please contact HR.
