Jeff Bodtke

Jeff Bodtke (B.A. '10)

Operator, Recycling Co.

Jeff graduated from Cornerstone in 2010 with his B.A. in Business with an emphasis in marketing and a minor in finance. Right out of college he moved to Ann Arbor to work for a communications firm that represented a Fortune 100 corporation in the automotive industry. A year after graduating he is now operating an electronics recycling company in SW Michigan. He feels privileged to be able to give back to his alma mater by serving as a member of the board.

Paul Doane

Paul Doane (B.R.E. '74)

Associate Director of Financial Aid at Grand Rapids Community College

Paul has worked in college admissions and financial aid for the past 32 years, ten which were spent at Cornerstone University. He currently serves as Associate Director of Financial Aid at Grand Rapids Community College and is actively involved in the Michigan Student Financial Aid Association. A 1974 graduate of CU, Paul also attended Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Paul enjoys reconnecting CU alumni with each other. He attends Faith Baptist Church in Kentwood, MI with his wife Nancy where he serves as an elder. They have three adult children.

Terri Fowler

Terri (Burns) Fowler (B.A. '81)

Chaplain at Gordon Food Service

Terri graduated from Cornerstone University in 1981 with a Bachelor's degree in Speech Communication. She has worked with non-profit organizations in community and church relations and is currently serving as a chaplain at Gordon Food Service. Terri and her husband, Bruce, attend Thornapple Covenant Church, where she is an elder. They have two adult children.


Rick Koole

Rick Koole (B.R.E. '70), Board Chairperson

Senior Pastor for LifePointe Church in Fallbrook, CA

Rick began serving at LifePointe Church in September 2013, after serving 16 years as the senior pastor at a church in Hudsonville, Michigan. Through a para-church ministry, LifePointe Media, he provides recordings of his sermons for Christian school teachers across the country. He and his wife, Carolyn (B.A. '99), have been blessed with five children.
