June 14 - 20, 2015
The 2015 Yellowstone Alumni Trip was a great success! CU Biology Professor Ray "Gator" Gates led a group of 16 alumni and their family members on a trip to Yellowstone National Park from June 14-20. The excursion included hikes in the Gallatin Range and Beartooth Mountains and a visit to Mystic Falls near Old Faithful. Trip participants lodged in cabins during the week in Silver Gate and West Yellowstone.
Students from Cornerstone University have been traveling to Yellowstone National Park nearly every year since the early 1980s as a part of the course Ecology and Management of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. This was the first alumni trip for CU.
