More than 15 seminaries from several areas will be represented at Cornerstone University’s first seminary fair sponsored by the Bible, Religion & Ministry Division
The fair, scheduled for Oct. 19, begins at 10 a.m. in the Faculty Office Building on campus. Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, a division of Cornerstone University, will be among the various schools presented.
“The fair is for any student who is considering seminary in the future,” said Kari Salazar, who is helping organize the event. “They will get a chance to meet with representatives from 15 different seminaries to discuss their programs, learning environments, campus life, etc.”
The event is set up so attendees can come and go as they please, much like a college fair. Students will have an opportunity for one-on-one conversations with the different representatives.
During the event there will be two drawings for $25 gift cards. All students are invited whether they are considering seminary or not.
“As an undergraduate, it’s a great opportunity to explore your calling to further education,” said Salazar.
