Cornerstone University theatre production “Little Shop of Horror’s” was featured on eightWest Nov. 14.
The show, about a down-and-out floral assistant who becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood, opens tonight, Nov. 15 at the Wealthy Street Theatre in Grand Rapids.
The morning show on Wood TV 8 featured songs by the main characters - Seymour and Audrey, interviews with Jennifer Hunter, director of CU theatre, and a song by the Ronnettes.

The popular show will be familiar to audiences who are fans of the 1986 film version of “Little Shop of Horror’s” directed by Frank Oz.
“Charming, tuneful and hilarious, with tongue firmly planted in cheek, “Little Shop of Horrors” will not fail to keep you entertained,” said Hunter of the fall musical.
The show will run Nov. 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Peter Wege Auditorium, Wealthy Theatre, 1130 Wealthy SE in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Tickets are $12 adults and $10 students and seniors. Cornerstone students will pay $5 with student ID.
