New Alumni Director Announced

Cornerstone alumni Nate Clason has accepted the role of the new director of alumni relations.

Clason completed his bachelor’s degree at CU in 2001 and earned a masters in divinity in 2006 from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.

He is currently completing a doctorate program in higher education administration at Michigan State University.

In 2005, Clason began his career at GRTS, first in the admissions office and most recently as the associate dean of students and adjunct professor of educational ministries.

“We are excited about Nate joining the alumni office,” said Bill Knott, vice president of advancement. “Nate will do a great job of taking the team to the next level after a great foundation has been set by previous directors.”

Clason and his wife, Erin (Courtright) (CU '01), were both captains of the CU cross country and track teams during their undergraduate years. They have three young children and reside in Grand Rapids.
