Ryan Bomberger was conceived in rape but adopted in love into a diverse family of 15. And throughout his life, he has been told he “should have been aborted.”
Join Cornerstone University for a special screening of “Should Have Been Aborted,” the 60-minute autobiographical documentary from Ryan Bomberger, co-founder of The Radiance Foundation and National President’s Fellow at Cornerstone University.
From his adoption as the first of 10 adopted children in his family to his rise as a national voice on abortion and human dignity, Ryan’s story has placed him at the center of one of our culture’s most divisive issues. His advocacy has drawn opposition from Planned Parenthood and the ACLU, national media criticism and even a lawsuit from the NAACP.
But “Should Have Been Aborted” is also deeply personal. The documentary follows Ryan’s emotional search for his biological past and a remarkable connection decades later that brought new meaning to the story of a life once considered “unwanted.”
It is a story of triumph rising from tragedy that challenges the idea that unplanned means unwanted or unloved—and affirms that every human life has God-given value and purpose.
Following the screening, Ryan will take questions from the audience about his story, the documentary and the cultural issues it raises.

Ryan Bomberger is an Emmy Award-winning creative professional, international speaker, author and co-founder of The Radiance Foundation, a faith-based nonprofit affirming the God-given value and purpose of every human life.
Conceived in rape but adopted in love into a diverse family of 15, Ryan has become a national voice for Truth and Life. As a National President’s Fellow at Cornerstone University, he mentors students and challenges them to courageously engage culture, stand for truth and faithfully influence the world for Jesus Christ.
