Bill Riter teaches courses in intermediate, advanced and cost accounting, taxation, auditing, accounting information systems, data management, database, data communications and strategic management. He also teaches accounting principles and is a course editor in the Professional and Graduate Studies program. Bill Riter is a member of the Michigan Association of CPA’s, American Accounting Association, Institute of Internal Auditors, Institute of Management Accountants and the Association of Information Technology Professionals. He has received the AITP Individual Performance Award.
From 1981-1985, Riter served as Vice President for Client serves at CARS Information Systems Corporation. There he was responsible for the installation and continuing support of the CARS administrative computer system at 30 colleges and universities in the United States.
Bill’s hobbies include model railroading and gardening. He has a backyard railroad large enough to carry adults!
