Biographical Information

Wendy Widder serves as Adjunct Professor of Old Testament at Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. She has previously held positions as an elementary school teacher, church administrative assistant and singles ministry coordinator and publicity assistant at Kregel Publications. Widder has two published books, “A Match Made in Heaven: How Singles and the Church Can Live Happily Ever After” and “Living Whole Without a Better Half.” She also co-authored the book, “The Forest and the Trees: Helping Teachers Integrate a Biblical Worldview Across the Curriculum.”

Widder is a member of the National Association of Professors of Hebrew, the Society of Biblical Literature and the Evangelical Theological Society.

In her spare time, Wendy enjoys reading, writing and watching public television.
