Andrew Hempel has a passion for youth ministry and building relationships. In his role as assistant resident director for Quincer Hall, he counsels and cares for freshman men at Cornerstone University as they begin their academic journey.

Andrew received his Bachelor of Arts in biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute and is working toward his Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary. Along with being a resident director at Cornerstone, he is a counselor for children and adolescents at Winning at Home Inc. He’s also been a summer camp counselor for large Christian camps like Harvest Bible Chapel, Lake Ann Camp and Camp Timber-lee.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing soccer and spending time outside.
