John Varineau serves as affiliate artist for clarinet at Cornerstone University. He shares his gift as a musician and music director with the Cornerstone community and inspires future generations of musicians to share their gifts.
Varineau received his Bachelor of Music in clarinet from the University of Wyoming and his Master of Music in clarinet from the Yale University School of Music. He recently retired from his position as associate conductor with the Grand Rapids Symphony and the conductor of the Grand Rapids Youth Symphony and Orchestra.
Varineau and his wife, Gwen, have two children.
