Undergrad Global Opportunities

Preparing students to influence the world.

Cultural awareness and global exposure are some of the major values of the Cornerstone experience. We encourage students to travel, study abroad, and expand their worldview as they prepare to enter the world as influencers for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

CU is dedicated to expanding students' worldviews, challenging them to step out of their comfort zone, and encouraging interaction on a global scale. There are many opportunities to engage with the wide world through Cornerstone University:

Study Abroad

Cornerstone offers a vast array of learning programs outside the U.S. Many trips are sent from our campus every semester. In addition, we partner with international study organizations, allowing CU students to explore as they learn.

As followers of Christ we have been commissioned to "go into all the world..." Global Opportunities (GO) Trips are designed to get students across cultural boundaries with a kingdom purpose. If you are interested in travelling with a GO Trip team please fill out the application here.

Shanice Taylor '14 | Major: Intercultural Studies

"I had the opportunity to go on a GO Trip to Port-au-Prince Haiti. I had always wanted to go to Haiti and was thrilled when the opportunity arose. God opened my eyes to a whole new world, and I returned home never to be the same again. Not only the poverty, malnutrition, injustice, and turmoil changed who I am today – seeing the work God has done and is doing to redeem and bring hope to that country…now that's incredible. Since returning to the States, I changed my major to Intercultural Studies and hope to one day return to Haiti as a full-time missionary."
