I love spending my free time hanging out with friends and doing silly things.

How would you describe community life at CU?

I would describe the CU community as a fun, loving community that brings people of all places together.

What did God teach you last semester?

Last semester, God taught me that He is there through the good times and the bad and that His love is greater than any other.

I love being a part of the soccer team.

My favorite spot on campus is the soccer field.

What are you looking forward to most about the new school year?

I am looking forward to enjoying my last year of school and building more lasting relationships.

How has financial aid helped make CU a possibility for you?

Financial aid has been a huge blessing because they were able to make Cornerstone an option. Without them, I probably would not have been able to attend CU.

How do you balance your studies and involvement in the community with your intense soccer schedule?

It takes a lot of intentional planning. I have to force myself to go to the library every week to get my school work done. Everything else just kind of falls in to place after that.

Do you have any advice for incoming student athletes?

My advice would be to keep up with your studies. It can be easy to get caught up in sports and neglect your schoolwork but your education is very important.

How did you adjust to the climate of Michigan your first year?

Adjusting to the climate was fun. I only had one pair of pants when I got here. I realized very quickly that I was going to need to get some warm clothes.
